XEROX gets a makeover
XEROX has re-branded themselves.
Old Wordmark:

New Wordmark:

“Research conducted by corporate identity and brand consulting firm Interbrand showed that it had become too familiar and dated to the point where the public, across the globe, were more apt to glance over it than give it attention.” More here….
Ok, so they decided to hire a company to “2.0” their branding. Here is my question:
If they are getting looked over as a brand, why would they send out a press release telling the world that their not relevant anymore?
If your going to say “hey, look at my new outfit”, why not say the new look was implemented to keep up with XEROX’s cutting edge technology?
Can we have a little marketing with that branding, Mr. Interbrand?
