5 Steps to a better business in 2008

1. A Fresh Attitude: Attitude is everything. Throw out the old, bring in the new.
2. A New Commitment: It’s time to recommit to your passion. Even if you are already committed, it’s nice to reevaluate your expectations and goals. (if it’s not your passion, you really need to revaluate your commitment)
3. Educate Yourself: Dedicate the new year to learn another aspect/skill related to your business. If your really motivated pick 2 or 3 things you could learn to increase your capabilities/value. There is always something new to learn. You will never know enough.
4. Better Communication: Start out the new year with better communication. Try new methods and follow up. Ask questions. Everyone likes good communication.
5. Reduce Your Risk: Identify your risks now and plan how to address them. Always expect things will cost more than you think. The easiest way to reduce risk is to tighten up the budget.
